NO STATE OF PUBLIC FACILITIES VASVTY Glenn Highway: Airport Heights to Parks Hwy Rehabilitation and Incident Management Traffic Accommodations Project No: CFHWY00545/0001656 and CFHWY01033/0A16056 Join the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) to learn more about the proposed plans to rehabilitate the Glenn Highway from Airport Heights Drive to the Parks Highway Interchange. The purpose of the project is to extend the life of the roadway and provide safety and capacity improvements on entrance ramps that were found to be functionally deficient. The Glenn Highway Incident Management Traffic Accommodations project will construct median crossovers to reduce gridlock impacts from traffic incidences that may occur by rerouting traffic around an incident or to divert traffic around a construction work zone that requires lane closures.
