The Knik Tribe is a federally recognized tribe providing state and federal contracted social, educational, and economic development services to tribal members in the Upper Cook Inlet region of Alaska. Located in South Central Alaska, the tribe has the largest Alaska Native Village Service Area (ANVSA) for a single tribal government covering 25,000 sq. miles. There are over 10,000 Alaska Native and Indian people residing within the tribal service area.
