Restoration Advisory Board - Evaluating Interest The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) seeks to determine community interest in establishing a Restoration Advisory Board for the Susitna Area Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS): Nike Site Bay Susitna Gunnery Range A Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) provides the community with the opportunity to become involved in the environmental restoration process either as a RAB member or through attendance at RAB meetings. RABS offer members the opportunity to influence cleanup decisions through discussion and to provide input to the USACE FUDS Program decision makers. Because representatives of the environmental agencies overseeing cleanup participate in the RAB, the RAB offers members and the public the opportunity to share their questions, concerns, and ideas with agencies involved in the cleanup. RAB members serve a 1-2 year term, represent the local community, and are active participants in the decision- making process. Service is voluntary. USACE will consider forming a RAB if there is sufficient community interest. U.S. ARMY US Army Corps of Engineers® If you are interested in serving on a potential RAB, please email Public.Affairs3@usace.army.mil by May 2, 2025. @ Use Susitna Area - RAB as the email subject line.
