Comments About Judges Needed at a Public Hearing May 12, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. We need your help! State law requires the Alaska Judicial Council to evaluate the performance of judges who will be on the ballot in November (for a list of judges, go to: www.ajc.state.ak.us). The Council would like to hear your opinions about the judges' legal ability, fairness, diligence, integrity, temperament, and overall performance. Please share your experience by calling into a public hearing on Tuesday, May 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. If calling from Juneau: 907-586-9085 If calling from Anchorage: 907-563-9085 Statewide: 1-844-586-9085 The Judicial Council also welcomes written testimony at the address below or via e-mail. The Council will review the judges' performances and vote on retention recommendations at a meeting on May 20, 2020.
